Amore Persians

Hello, my name is Liv and with my 3 sons, Justin, Daniel, & Aiden, we own the AMORE cattery. With my children and our Aussie Shepherd, Simba they socialize the kittens very well. Our kittens are used to loud noises and do not flinch or run from anything, they have no fear.

Amore is a registered cattery with CFA and soon to be with TICA. We are a small cattery and we only breed a few times each year. All of our foundation cats come from National Winning, Grand Champion, & Distinguished Merit Pure Persian lines without exotic or smokes.

Our goal in breeding is to produce very healthy sound and affectionate show cats with cobby bodies, tiny ears, large deep copper eyes, smooth doming, short tails, massive heads, huge coat factors and a wide open sweet expression.

All of our cats are Feline Leukemia and FIV negative, PKD DNA Negative, HCM free, and without any fungus or parasites. All our cats are a member of our family. They are not put up or caged away from the normal hustle and bustle of a family household. They eat, sleep, and play with us. We take them on walks in the evenings and they play with our children and watch TV on our laps for their evening lap naps. They are very spoiled and full of life and very used to all the noises from children and household activities. An Amore kitten will not be a shy one. They are raised underfoot with lots of love, dedication, and attention.

I got my first Persian when I turned 10 years old. My father had given me $200.00 to buy what I wanted for my birthday, I picked out a Persian, a cream boy, we named him Mozart. He lived for many years throughout my highschool years into early college. With my loving relationship with him I knew I wanted to be a breeder and always have this wonderful breed with me forever.

I bought my first cat for my breeding program in 2005, a solid white girl, her name is CH Pawsh Simple Hugs N Kisses aka Treasure, and she is still with us. She was the start of my love for showing and breeding. She finaled many times as a kitten and even received a best kitten award at the age of 5 months beating many kittens being campaigned for RW's. She is grand pointed but wanted to be a mom more than being shown.

We then purchased a wonderful tortie & blue-cream female from Noblessa Persians. They are the sweetest kitties with the shortest bodies, huge eyes, and talking about coat monsters, they all have it! Thanks Ben!

We then purchased our blue male, GC Charrewood Professor Longhair from Judith Hopwood. He is the most wonderful boy. He is short in body with amazing boning, large head, big copper eyes, a huge coat factor, and the sweetest temperments-he is my "blue teddy-bear" as he allows me to hug him and he hugs me back! We are so excited for his future babies, we love you Judith, always, not only for your wonderful friendship but for allowing Professor to come into our home!

Now we have just brought home our first import from Israel, our solid white boy, Gitkit Ice Cube from Zohar and Avi. He is so ethereal in appearance and personality and he carries the odd-eyed gene and with him we hope to embark onto the wonderful blue eyes and odd eyes in our solid whites. Thank you so much Zohar, I will never forget you!
